LASERIUM TAKES
CLEVELAND BOW
In mid-February, Friendship. Productions, Inc., a Cleveland based national entertainment corporation will join with Laser Images, Inc. of Van Nuys, California to introduce a new entertainment form to the Cleveland area for the first time. Although intensely difficult to describe, Laserium combines
from Gustav Holst's "The Planets," "The Blue Danube" by Johann Strauss and "Echos" by Pink Floyd.
Site for Laserium will be The Allen Theatre, 1407 Euclid Avenue in Cleveland's Playhouse Square, where Friendship Productions has converted the theatre seating portion of the historic old building into a planetarium complete with a mini space museum. Laserium will be run 15 times a week on Wednesday thru Sunday and admission will be $3.00 per person with no one under six admitted. Flash

Slowly, the lights will begin to dim and a planetarium starfield will be projected onto the curved ceiling. On top of this deep-space background, a performer known as a "laserist" will begin to introduce the
